Import an inventory schedule

Your price list or unit schedule becomes Portal units in one pass: upload the file, check what was read, confirm. The schedule is yours to load, it takes seven steps, and nothing is written until the last one.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open the project and go to the Inventory tab.
  2. On the Unit/Lot Inventory card click Add Inventory Data. To reuse a file already held on the project, click Select from existing PDFs, then click the file; the reading starts on its own.
  3. In Extract Property Inventory, on the Upload Document tab, drag the file onto the box or click to browse. The Instructions tab describes a document that reads well.
  4. Click Extract Inventory.
  5. Wait through Extracting data from document..., Analysing Inventory and Analyzing inventory table....
  6. Check the count and the Preview pages thumbnails.
  7. Click Add N units. Nothing is written before that click, and Back or Close discards the result.

What you see when it worked

The dialog reports PDF analysis finished and AI found N units. Pages: 1, 2., and a toast Inventory extracted asks you to review and confirm. After you click Add N units, a Success toast reads Added N inventory items successfully and the table replaces the empty state.
