Share your presentation: link, embed and offline copy

Your presentation goes out three ways: a link you send a buyer, an embed code for your own website, and a ready-made page you download. Each is one click.

Before you start

Any account that can open the project. Sharing itself needs no special role.
The project needs a Project URL. Vision Pitch sets it — with no Link row and no Embed code button under the project name, ask us for it, naming the project.
The embed and the archive both point at that address. Neither carries a copy of the presentation.

Steps

Open the project. Under the project name sits a row beginning Link.
Click the copy icon beside Link. That address is what you send a buyer.
Click Embed code. The dialog Website Integration Code opens with the code already in the box.
Click Copy Code, then paste the code into a page on your own website.
For a ready-made page instead, click Download index.html archive. The browser saves project-integration.zip, holding one index.html file that fills the window with the presentation.

What the embed and the archive contain

One line pointing at the address in Project URL. The archive is a web page, not an offline copy: open it without a connection and it shows nothing.

If the Project URL changes, every page you already pasted the code into goes blank. Copy the code again and replace it wherever it is published. The Portal stores no copy of the code — it is rebuilt from Project URL each time you open the dialog, so the dialog is always right and the pages you published are not.

What you see when it worked

The copy icon beside Link turns into a tick for a moment; no message appears. Copy Code shows Embed code copied to clipboard and the button reads Copied! briefly. The archive shows Archive downloaded successfully and the file lands in your downloads folder. On your own site the pasted code draws the presentation inside the page.

If it does not work

`Failed to copy embed code`	Highlight the code in the box and copy it by hand.
`No project URL available to generate archive`	Same cause. Ask us.
`Failed to generate archive`	Click Download index.html archive again.
Nothing reaches the clipboard from the copy icon	The browser blocked the copy. Highlight the address and copy it by hand.
The embedded frame is blank on your website	The address in Project URL changed or stopped answering. Click Link to check it opens, then copy the code again and replace the old one.
The archive shows a blank page	Same cause, and it also needs a connection. Check Link opens.
