Find a lead: search, filters and sorting

Search, filters and sorting cut a long list down to one person, or to the batch you work next. Three controls on the tab, and none of them changes what anyone else sees.

Before you start

A Portal sign-in that reaches the project's Leads tab. View project leads covers opening it.
What you search and filter is yours alone and lasts only while you stay on the tab.

Steps

Open the project. Leads opens by default.
Type into Search name, email, phone. It matches those three fields only — the enquiry text, the unit and the form name are not searched.
Click Filters. On a phone it opens from the bottom of the screen.
Set Sort by. Newest first orders by the most recent enquiry, so a repeat enquiry jumps back to the top. Priority puts offers first, then unit enquiries, then anything nobody has picked up, and sinks Won and Lost to the bottom.
Set Period: All time, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days.
Set Source: All sources, Offer, Unit enquiry, Enquiry, Access, Import or Manual. Import marks rows Vision Pitch loaded from a list you sent — to add one, send us the project name and the list as a spreadsheet with its headings in the first row.
Close the panel. The number on Filters counts how many of Period and Source are set. Sort by is never counted.
There is no reset button. To see everything again, empty the search box and put Period back to All time and Source back to All sources.

The tiles ignore what you filter

Searching, filtering and sorting happen in your browser on the rows already on screen, while the tiles New this week, Offers, Unit/Lot specific and Unworked always count the whole project. They will disagree, and neither is wrong. Trust the list for who to contact next, and the tiles for the project total.

What you see when it worked

The list redraws immediately, with no page reload and no saving. Every row keeps its Status and Assigned columns, so you can read a filtered list without opening anything. A count appears on Filters whenever Period or Source is set.

If it does not work

What you see	What to do
`No leads match your filters` with `Try clearing the search or filters.`	Empty the search box, set Period to All time and Source to All sources.
`No enquiries yet`	Nothing has reached this project. Filters cannot help.
`Couldn't load leads` with `Please refresh and try again.`	Refresh the page.
Your search and filters are gone after visiting another tab	Expected. They are never remembered. Set them again.
A tile shows a number the list in front of you does not	Expected. The tiles count the whole project and ignore your search and filters.
Someone you can name does not appear	Search their email instead of their name. A lead can arrive with no name at all.
