Add, edit and delete units

The unit list is yours to hold true to what is for sale: add one by hand, edit every field in one dialog, remove one or a batch. Adding takes six steps and one required field. A delete cannot be undone.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open the project, go to the Inventory tab and click Add unit/lot manually.
  2. Add Unit/Lot opens with three sections: Basic Information, Areas & Dimensions, Pricing Information.
  3. Fill Unit/Lot Number \*. It is the only required field.
  4. Set Availability. A new unit starts on the project's first status.
  5. Leave Total Area alone. It is Auto-calculated from Ground Floor Area + Mezzanine.
  6. Click Create.

Edit every field

  1. Click the pencil on the row, Edit details. Edit Inventory Item holds every field the table does not show.
  2. Click Save Changes. Cancel discards.

Delete

  1. Click the bin, Delete item. Delete unit/lot 12A? names what goes with it; click Delete unit/lot.
  2. For several at once, tick the rows. A bar appears reading 4 selected. Click Delete selected. Delete 4 units/lots? opens; click Delete 4 units/lots.

A delete cannot be undone. The bulk dialog says so in as many words — This can’t be undone. Re-adding a unit afterwards gives you a new one, not the old one back.

An imported batch can land silently: after Add N units the dialog closes whether the units were written or not. If the list is unchanged, reload the page, then run the extraction again.

What you see when it worked

A Success toast: Inventory item created successfully, Inventory item updated successfully, Inventory item deleted successfully, or Deleted 4 units/lots successfully. The row appears in, or disappears from, the table.
